CFR responds to 700 to 800 calls annually, about 45% are medical emergencies. Medical Technicians and trained responders provide lifesaving and comfort measures until an ambulance, if needed, arrives from County EMS. The remaining calls address protective and enforcement services, motor vehicle collisions and fires, blocked roadways, extinguishment of structural and wild-land fires, water and deep woods rescue, medical emergencies and everything in between.
